Welcome to all our new students and those continuing from last year. The Library Staff look forward to supporting you in 2010.
To get a head start in using the library so you are all set to go with your studies, you will need two important things:
- A TAFEcard (issued when you enrol). This is your library card for borrowing, your printing/photocopying card, and your student ID.
- A DET Portal user name and password (issued when you enrol). This provides you with Internet access both in the library and on classroom student computers, as well as remote access to library and other TAFE Sydney Institute online resources.

Hours of opening
Petersham College has a library at each campus (Crystal Street and West Street) specialising in resources for the subjects taught at each location. For Term 1 (starting 8th February), the two libraries will operate with the same opening hours as Term 4 2009.
Petersham Crystal St Library will be open:
- Mondays to Wednesdays 10am to 8pm
- Thursdays 10am to 7pm &
- Fridays 10am to 4pm.
Petersham West St Library will be open:
- Mondays to Thursdays 10am to 6pm &
- Fridays 10am to 2pm.
